Loomca lets you create AI assistants that answer customer questions using information from a business. The chat can be shared through a link or added to a website.
Updated on October 23, 2026, to reflect the project’s current focus.
The problem
A business’s answers are often scattered across its website, documents, and messages: opening hours, services, requirements, or policies. Still, many questions end up with someone having to explain the same thing again.
Loomca aims to make those answers easier to find. An administrator prepares the information the assistant can consult, and customers ask questions in a chat.
How it works
The process starts with an account and a web assistant. From the dashboard, you can name it, describe the business, and prepare the information it will use to answer.
You can write information directly, add text-based PDFs, or include specific public web pages. Use current content and review the terms you want to communicate to your customers.
You can then customize the chat’s appearance and try it with real questions. The dashboard provides a link hosted by Loomca and a script to embed it on your website.
For example, a service business can prepare its hours, service requirements, and cancellation terms. The assistant consults that information to answer questions such as, “What do I need to bring?”
For your business or your clients’ businesses
Loomca is designed both for people managing their own business and for people building websites and tools for others. You can configure separate assistants, each with its own information and conversations.
Teams let you group assistants. Grouping them does not automatically make them share sources: each assistant keeps its own configuration and information.
The business stays in control
The administrator decides what information the assistant uses and can update its sources or pause service. Keeping those sources current is part of preparing a useful chat.
AI can make mistakes or fail to find enough information. Bookings, inventory, final prices, and other commercial commitments require confirmation from the business.
The goal is to help answer questions using available information, without presenting a generated response as a confirmed business decision.
Why I built it
I’m interested in reducing the gap between what a business already knows and what its customers need to ask. A chat can make that information easier to access when it consults relevant sources and its limits are clear.
That is Loomca’s current direction: assistants that help answer questions using their own sources, under the administrator’s control.
